“The best way to find yourself is to love yourself in the service of others.”
Mother Divine Public School, Rohini conducted a special assembly on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Jayanti to pay tribute to their legacy which continues to inspire us all. The principles Gandhiji stood for, are still invoked across India and the world. The assembly commenced with informative biographies about the life and sacrifices made by both the great leaders in gaining freedom for our country. The poem recited by the student focused on values and ethics which Bapu has strived to inculcate in Indians for the betterment of society and human mankind in general. The students of Grade VI depicted the three ideals of Gandhi Ji i.e. See no Evil, Hear no Evil and Speak no Evil. The assembly concluded with the motivational message by the coordinator of the Middle Programme and wished for a brighter and peaceful future in the coming times. It was indeed a day of joy and all the students were imbued with Gandhian values and vowed to become better citizens of India.
