'Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever'
World Scout Day also known as Scouts Founder's Day is celebrated every year on 22 February. The day is also referred to as World Thinking Day , as it is an occasion to remember that they are a part of a worldwide movement. The day was celebrated at Mother Divine Public School to pay tribute to Lord Baden Powell and Lady Baden Powell on their birthday. Lord Baden Powell was the founder of the Scouts and Guides movement. The programme started with an auspicious note - a Scouts & Guides prayer. The flag hoisting ceremony was done by our Scouts and Guides Team. They shared information about this day and motivated the students to contribute to the education of young people, so as to play a constructive role in building a better world. The contributions made by Lord Baden Powell were highlighted. The programme ended with Scouts & Guides promise in which students pledged to obey the Scouts & Guides laws.
