The Panchayati Raj System in India aims to build democracy at the grass-root level. The term Panchayati Raj signifies the system of rural local self-government. Decentralized Democracy is the main objective or motto of the Panchayati Raj System.
The National Panchayati Raj Day, is celebrated every year on 24th April to commemorate the 73rd Amendment Act, 1992 of the Constitution coming into effect in the year 1993.
To make this day more memorable, students at Mother Divine Public School, observed this day along with the year-long celebration of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. I a different way .
The students of classes VI to VIII decorated their bulletin board in the classrooms and marked its importance.
It was a beautiful presentation given by all the students.
