"The greatness of a culture can be found in its festival ."
Navratri is celebrated with great fanfare in every nook and corner of our country. It is indeed regarded as Incredible India throughout the world and we must take pride in the fact that it is a melting pot of traditions, cultures, and customs. To celebrate the auspicious festival of Navaratri, Mother Divine Public School organized an intra-class dance activity 'Garba Special’ on Tuesday 17th October 2023 for the students of Grades III to V. Our budding dancers spun around to the beats of peppy Garba tunes in vivid festive attires adorning vibrant smiles. Garba, a lively and vibrant dance form, holds deep cultural and spiritual significance during the auspicious festival of Navaratri in India. Garba serves as a form of devotion, where people come together in large gatherings to express their reverence to the nine incarnations of the divine goddess over the course of nine days through music and dance. Students enjoyed themselves to the tunes of Garba all dressed in traditional Garba ensembles. While some grooved on the music, others lauded the spectacular performances. The celebration became a memorable one for all the students.
