"Great countries have great history, graceful histories are written with great pains and struggle. Great were those who fought to bring this day in India's history."
We all feel proud to be an Indian and it is equally important that such feelings are instilled in the future generation too. Learning becomes real if connected to the reality. Considering the same, Mother Divine Public School organised an activity for the students of Grades 3 to 5 on ‘Oral History Narration’ wherein Resource person, Mr Baldev Raj Talwar was invited to share his experiences on Great Indian freedom struggle on 11th August, 2023. The resource person was full of life and explained all his experiences belonging to freedom struggle, post independent nation and partition. Students were engrossed listening to the stories of the life of our freedom fighters and freedom struggle. Through this activity, the students have a closer look into the relevance of Independence Day and the struggles faced by our ancestors to attain freedom. It also reminded ourselves to value the freedom we enjoy today. It helped our students to grow into better human beings and being more considerate towards the blessings they have.
